laptop ac adapter question by miranda: What could cause the AC adapter to my laptop to stop charging the battery?
I have a Dell Inspiron 1501. I’ve had it since christmas and a few months ago the AC adapter stopped charging the battery. Every now and then the AC adapter will work for a few days or weeks then it goes out again for alittle while.

i work at best buy and i get this all the time, try checking the plug connection and make sure no pins are screwed over.

if all else fails contact dell for a replacement or buy a replacement
