I have a Linksys 2.4 GHz Wireless G Notebook Adapter and I was wondering if there was like a two way converter that would allow me to use the Wireless G Card for the desktop computer with out having to use the laptop in anyway.

You can plug the USB wireless G adapter into any USB port on desk top then install the adapter software and connect the desk top to network wireless or buy another adapter one for each, the lap top and desk top.
